Biochip (A) for photometric, pixel-oriented detection of biomolecules (I) comprises a glass surface with reaction areas (spots) of 2-8 mm<2>, where the spots are functionalized for use with enzyme-labeled (I). Reaction of (I) is evaluated using a color-forming substrate and both the number of points of color per spot and their optical density are determined. An Independent claim is also included for a method for preparing (A).
