Device for spectral photochemical analysis of liquid media comprises a radiation source; a monochromator; a light-guiding element; a radiation detector that produces electrical signals; a microprocessor; a current source; and operating elements. The device also comprises a waveguide tip containing parts of the light-guiding element having a recess functioning as a cuvette, for receiving the measuring medium. Device for spectral photochemical analysis of liquid media comprises a radiation source (2) for emitting radiation; a monochromator (1) for selecting the emitted radiation according to wavelength; a light-guiding element for guiding the radiation; a detector for detecting radiation and producing electrical signals; a microprocessor for converting electrical signals into measured values; a current source for producing current for the radiation source, the monochromator, detector and/or microprocessor; and operating elements for operating all operations in a housing (12). The device also comprises a waveguide tip (6) containing parts of the light-guiding element having a recess (13) functioning as a cuvette for receiving the measuring medium. Preferred Features: The waveguide tip is removed using a discarding device operated using the operating elements. The tip has a mirror coating and/or a total reflecting coating or boundary surface. The radiation source is a laser or LED. The monochromator is a grid, prism or optical filter. The housing has an ergonomic shape.
