The heavy current terminal has a sleeve (22) with a current plug pin reception chamber (22a) having a larger diameter entry region (22c), containing a contact spring (30) with several spring blades (31) which are joined together at one end, to provide a circle corresponding to the outer diameter of the plug pin and the inner diameter of the reception chamber, with a peripheral lip (33) abutting the shoulder at the inner end of the entry region.
