The invention relates to a heating film consisting of a plurality of layers including a heat-producing layer and a carrier material. According to the invention, carbon fibres are provided in the heat-producing layer, said fibres being oriented according to a preferred orientation. Elements which can be electrically heated, preferably resistance wires, are provided as sources of heat. Said elements are integrated into the layer and are arranged transversely in relation to the preferred orientation. The inventive arrangement enables heat to be emitted from the sources via the carbon fibres, according to the pre-determined preferred orientation. The heating film can especially be used for de-icing the outer surfaces of aircrafts.
