The arrangement of rollers incorporates a first and second pair of rollers for embossing two lengths of one layer each. The two layers are joined to produce a multilayered article. Each pair of rollers comprises a non-engraved counter-roller and an engraved embossing roller with surface occupied by embossing surfaces (7) in the roller's axial direction. A first (11) and second (12) straight line point in an axial (9) and peripheral (10) direction of the embossing rollers. The second straight line is at a pre-set angle which is not a right angle in relation to the first straight line which, relating to each embossing roller, is parallel with the axis of the engraved embossing roller.
