The bellows (10) comprises a bellows body (12) of flexible material and with plate-form reinforcing strips (14) installed in its outer folds. Adjacent reinforcing strips are each connected by at least one spring (16). The spring extends on the inside of the bellows in the latter's longitudinal direction over several of its widened reinforcing strips protruding over the inner folds. The spring penetrates several reinforcing strips and is connected to the strips at the penetration points.
