A locking arrangement (1) prevents the release of a nut on a shaft thread. The locking element has a fixing tab (1a) and a groove tab (1b),an intermediate washer (2) with nipples (2c, 2d) projecting above end-faces (2a, 2b) and a locking bolt (3). The locking element has a number of threaded drill holes (4a) in a shaft nut (4) and a groove (5a) in the shaft (5).
