A hair washing agent comprises a nonionic, anionic or amphoteric wash-active surfactant, a nonionic, water-insoluble graft copolymer with a siloxane unit main chain and side chains of polymerized acrylate units, a gel-forming thickener imparting a flow limit, and water. A hair washing agent with a flow limit of /- 0.5Pa and a 50 second<-1> shear rate viscosity of /- 100mPa.s (both measured at 25 deg C) comprises: (A) a nonionic, anionic or amphoteric wash-active surfactant; (B) a nonionic, water-insoluble graft copolymer with a siloxane unit main chain and side chains of polymerized acrylate units; (C) a gel-forming thickener imparting a flow limit; and (D) water.
