Information stored in electronic components is made from unauthorised access and/or operating the controls of a coin-operated machine. The data storing components, a voltage supply, an erasing device and sensors system are all housed in one body; when a parameter recorded by the sensors lies outside a predetermined range the erasing device is activated, and the data stored are erased. The sensor used is pref. a flexible polyamide film with a conducting coating. The enclosed housing (15) has the whole area of its inner sides (16b, 17b) base and cover (16, 17) covered with a sensor film (19); a conductor (20) connects the sensor (19) on the base and top to a system (21) on the plate (22) of the controller (13). Other sensors in the housing are also connected up to that system (21), which plus the erasing device (24), has the electrical supply (23). Mechanical and/or chemical action on to the housing (15) is detected by the sensor (19). Any action on the supply voltage or environmental temp. is detected by other sensors inside the housing (15) and is transmitted to the system (21). Any levels exceeding set limits energises the erasing device (24) and the electrical supply system is reversed in polarity. ADVANTAGE - The control system prevents unauthorised tampering. |
