The invention relates to an installation and process for three-dimensional writing of digital information as well as to an optical memory obtained by using the installation and the process claimed by the invention. The installation for writing three-dimensional information comprises a laser (10) which emits, in pulses with the pulse duration of 100 fs at the most, a beam divided by means of a beam divider (11) which generates at the output multiple beams each being accommodated in a switching cell (12) controlled by computer (13), there resulting beams which are united within some writing networks (2 and 2', respectively), said beams being incorporated in a writing device comprising two subassemblies (3 and 4, respectiely), a first subassembly (3) of the writing device being of a first type, consisting of a writing network (2), a colimating lens (5) and an optical blade (6), and the second subassembly (4)of the writing device being of a second type, consisting of a writing network (2'), a colimating lens (5'), an optical blade (6') and a beam divider (7), the resulting beams being directed through a focusing lens (8) towards the inside of a focal volume of an optical memory (9).
