The device for processing commutator openings and similar machined pieces by using radial clamping with adjustable clamping force and corresponding procedure according to the invention, which is of stack-type and provides the possibility of taking the machined pieces directly from the conveyor track without the use of additional dosage devices, features the machined pieces firmly clamped at an adjustable clamping force level which can vary in the reverse cycle of the tool from the clamping force of the tool hub moving forwards.
