The machine provides drinks, foodstuffs and the like in a tempered condition. The machine has recesses in its walls. Containers containing the drink or food can be placed in these recesses such that either the base or the lid of the container or the whole container is surrounded by the machine wall in the recess. The tempered containers can be formed from various materials by extraction and/or blowing or some other technology.
