PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling a digital system bus are provided to control the bus on the digital bus system by realizing a bus control logic for making each processor occupy/release the bus as a program. CONSTITUTION: When a transfer reference signal is enabled, an address of the processor is loaded. A bus occupation status is checked, and a loaded processor address is counted when the bus is an unoccupied status. When the count is finished, a transfer approval signal is enabled. When the transfer approval signal is enabled, a status of a transfer request signal is checked. When the transfer request signal is enabled, the bus occupation signal is enabled. When the bus occupation signal is enabled, the IPC(Inter Processor Communication) data is transferred by using the bus. After a transfer process, the bus occupation signal is released when the transfer request signal is released.
