The design of the hammer is characterized by a handle portion and a head portion, the head portion comprising front and rear portions, the handle portion at its distal end being slightly elongated in the direction of a front portion of the head, a front face of the head portion being flattened and trapezoidal in shape, the rear portion of the head being swept-back and divided into two claw-like elements, the head and the handle being interconnected by a central curved shank portion extending form the interior end of the handle to a position short of the distal end of the head, a portion of the head being covered by the central curved shank portion, and a portion of the front and distal end of the head portion being open to view, the central curved shank portion comprising two series of horizontal groove-like elements on opposite sides thereof in that portion of the central curved shank portion closer to the handle portion.Drawing(s)/photograph(s) of the design is (are) included. |
