摘要 Expression clones in library can be identified by a method of screening. The method comprises providing a source of nucleotide sequences, providing an expression vector including a small marker tag. The nucleotide sequence is introduced into the expression vector. The expression vector is transformed into a host cell to crate an expression library. An expression clone is then located by detecting the expression of a fusion protein comprising a marker co-expressed with an expression protein. The method can be further used to identify therapeutic antigenic gene sequences encoding antigenic proteins of a disease from a sample of nucleotides sequences. The method further comprises inoculating an animal with the expression vector that expresses the antigenic expression protein and then challenging the animal with the disease. Expression vectors that provide a therapeutic effect induced by the vaccination are identified. Also described are nucleotide and amino acid sequences of Mycoplasma and antibodies specific for the polypeptides encodes by the amino acid sequences. The polypeptide, antibodies and DNA molecules are useful for infection particularly Mycoplasma hypneumoniae infections.
