FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has plate which substernal portion width corresponds to intercostal space. Costal ends of the plate are designed so that one of them is triangular and has holes for fixing it on one of adjacent ribs, the other one has holes for fixing it on one of adjacent ribs and tail part articulated with the substernal portion of the plate using hole in the tail part. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; prevented growing ribs deformity occurrence. 1 dwg
