<p>FIELD: polymeric machinery industry, in particular, processing of polymeric waste, first of all of those having a low bulk density, for example, film, fibrous, etc. melts for obtaining melts at enterprises producing synthetic fibres, plastic masses in chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: the method of melting in heat medium is accomplished by formation of the mixture of heat medium and polymer melt. Melting is conducted continuously by heat medium moving at a speed 80.0 to 100.0 m/s, which is a water steam at a temperature of 300 to 500 C. Separation of the heat medium with the melt of polymer is effected by centrifugal separation at a simultaneous external warm-up. The melting chamber in the device with the loading hopper is made with holes on both ends - one for delivery of the heat medium, the other with an expanding extension piece - for discharge of the mixture of the heat medium and the melt. Connected to the latter is a melt conductor connecting the through chamber and the separation unit. The separation unit is made in the form of a centrifugal separator provided with an external housing forming a cavity around the separator, and its lower part is connected to the heater of the heating medium, and the upper one - to the blower of the heating medium. EFFECT: preserved structure of polymer at heating without destruction during a long period of time at an approach of the melt temperature to the destruction temperature, reduced power consumption and enhanced efficiency. 9 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl</p> |
