FIELD: launching space rockets from water craft (platforms); launching powerful launch vehicles from equatorial regions of world ocean. SUBSTANCE: platform is equipped with launcher , no less than 50 m long and facility for transfer of assembled and partially prepared for launch rocket in horizontal position to platform. Device is also provided with on-board facilities for preparation of rocket for launch and transportation of it on rails to launcher. These facilities are intended for servicing the rocket in horizontal position. Besides that, platform is provided with unit for placing the rocket in vertical position and filling equipment.
