According to method productive pool is drilled in by operating holes. Oil is recovered and elevated to surface at the cost of pool energy or by mechanized methods. In correspondence with proposed method oil field is developed first by isolated blocks of first priority with their parameters taking into account number, width and extent and ensuring relieving of productive pool over developed area from formation pressure. Later development is carried out by blocks of second priority positioned between blocks of first priority. EFFECT: increased completeness of extraction of oil from productive pool. 1 cl, 2 dwg
