PURPOSE: A high efficiency valve assembly of a compressor is provided to reduce input consumption and to easily support and fix a discharge valve to an accurate position. CONSTITUTION: A high efficiency valve assembly(100) comprises a valve plate(110) having a refrigerant suction hole(111), a first refrigerant discharge hole(112) and a second refrigerant discharge hole(112') formed thereon; a suction valve plate(120) installed between the valve plate and a cylinder, and having a suction valve(121) formed thereon to open and close the refrigerant suction hole; a discharge valve(130) installed between the valve plate and a cylinder head(33) to open and close the first refrigerant discharge hole and the second refrigerant discharge hole; a stop valve(140) installed on an upper part of the discharge valve to limit opening degree of the discharge valve; a stopper(150) installed on an upper part of the stop valve to keep the discharge valve and the stop valve at fixed positions; a keeper(160) elastically supporting the stopper; and discharge valve fixing parts(132,152) positioning and fixing the discharge valve fixed on the valve plate by a second fixing member(180') on an accurate position.
