DISC CARTRIDGE

PURPOSE: A disc cartridge is provided to restrain the contact between a shutter and a disc in a case to a rim part of the disc, thereby safely keeping the disc information area when opening or closing an opening hole. CONSTITUTION: A disc cartridge includes a case formed with protruded contact parts(220,230) for supporting non-information area of a disc at a position not interfering with first and second shutter parts(211,212) of a shutter(210). The non-information area is formed along a rim part(D3) of the disc. The contact between the disc and the first and second shutter parts is limited to the rim part for the non-information area, thereby removing the damage of information area(D2) of a recording surface even in the case of opening and closing of the shutter.
