PURPOSE: An automatic on/off system of an air conditioner for a bus is provided to improve pleasantness. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus includes a flow rate sensor(12) installed on a downstream of a blower(7) in an air conditioner duct(1) to detect flow rate of chilled air passing the blower and to output fixed signal according to detected flow rate; and a controller(14) receiving signal output by the flow rate sensor, determining whether to turn on/off an air conditioner, and outputting actuation signal to turn on/off the air conditioner.
