PURPOSE: An instrument panel structure formed integrally with a section structure for an airbag door portion of a passenger seat is provided to form the airbag door portion to the instrument panel by forming the section structure integrally without expensive laser equipment. CONSTITUTION: An instrument panel structure formed integrally with a section structure for an airbag door portion of a passenger seat comprises the instrument panel(10); a chute portion(20); a hinged plate(24) and an airbag module(25). The instrument panel arranges the rectangular airbag door portion by connecting a hinged groove(12) and an incision groove(13) with injection molding. The chute portion has an opening(21) to spread an airbag by connecting to a rear portion of the instrument panel. The hinged plate covers the opening by connecting a rim of one side to a rear portion of the chute portion. The airbag module is connected to a rear portion of the hinged plate. The airbag module spreads the airbag by sensing a shock of a vehicle. An auxiliary groove is formed to an outer surface of the instrument panel. Therein, spread of the airbag is easy with small force. A process for forming the airbag door portion with laser is reduced. |
