PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of shots having high mechanical efficiency during shot pinning process by reducing forming time of cut wires and simplifying fabricating process, thereby improving work efficiency and surface strength is provided. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method of shots comprises cutting process (I) of cutting the steel wire to a certain length by continuously penetrating steel wire into a high speed rotation rollers on which cutting blades are formed; injection step (II) of injecting the cut pieces of steel wire into a storage tank of a shot forming apparatus; transfer step (III) of transferring the cut pieces of steel wire inside the storage tank to an impeller; forming step (IV) of processing the cut pieces by projecting the cut pieces of steel wire transferred to the impeller onto a projecting surface; and transportation step (V) of transporting the processed cut pieces to the storage tank using a conveyor, wherein the cut pieces of steel wire are processed by continuously repeating the transfer step (III), forming step (IV) and transportation step (V), and where dust generated in the forming step (IV) is sucked into a dust collector.
