PURPOSE: A cooling tower with an attached precooler is provided to reduce volume of the cooling tower and to maximize cooling efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A precooler(14) is attached to a suction hole formed on a lower side of a cooling tower for outside air to be introduced to packing material in a main body, and has wavy oil paper packing material(16) placed in a frame(15) in vertical direction; a spray pipe(17) placed on an upper end of the frame and connected with a refill water pipe to continuously supply the oil paper packing material with refill water; and a drain pipe(18) placed on a lower side of the frame and connected with a collecting reservoir.
