摘要 PURPOSE: A process of preparing the subject functional salt by adding an propolis extract having antibacterial effects to salt to reduce the adverse effect of salt is provided. Therefore, the salt can preserve food for a long period of time while having the capacity to prevent dental caries of teeth. CONSTITUTION: To produce functional salt, salt is dissolved in water and aqueous propolis containing 2.77g propolis is added to saturated saline water containing 100g salt. Thereafter, the mixed liquid is added with one or more components selected from 0.01 to 5% by weight of chitosan, 0.01 to 20% by weight of ginseng extract, 0.01 to 10% by weight of mugwort extract, 0.1 to 10% by weight of garlic extract, 0.01 to 5% by weight of pine needle extract and 0.1 to 5% by weight of mulberry extract.
