PERFECT LINK METHOD FOR SATISFYING CONTINUITY BETWEEN WRITTEN DATA

PURPOSE: A perfect link method for satisfying the continuity between written data is provided to minimize the overlapping or gap between data written to a CD before and after the generation of a buffer under run, thereby minimizing the writing-failure of the CD. CONSTITUTION: A perfect link method for satisfying the continuity between written data includes the steps of continuously storing time interval between an ATIP sync-signal and a sub code sync-signal during the writing operation is carried out, and compensating the time interval between the ATIP sync-signal and the sub code sync-signal by using the stored time interval when carrying out the writing operation again by the releasing of a buffer under run. In the storing step, the time interval is not stored any more if the buffer under run is generated and re-started to be stored when the writing operation is continued by releasing the buffer under run.
