PURPOSE: A fuel intake cover of tundish pre-heater is provided to prevent crack of refractory material to extend service life of facility by increasing thermal efficiency, thereby shortening pre-heating time and absorbing sufficient amount of thermal expansion. CONSTITUTION: The fuel intake cover of tundish pre-heater comprises a housing(20) the inner part of which is hollow, which is formed in such a truncate conical shape that the lower part of the shape is wider than the upper part thereof, and which is formed of a stainless steel plate; a plurality of fixed rakes(22) which are fixed to the rear surface of the housing(20) by a fixing bracket as penetrating the housing(20), and which are movably arranged inside a hollow part formed on the bottom of the housing(20); and a refractory material(24) which is constructed with being mixed with the fixed rakes(22) inside the housing(20) except a fuel intake(9) formed at the central part of the housing(20), wherein lower and upper parts of the housing(20) are inclined in an inclination angle (a) of 25±5 degrees, wherein the fixed rakes(22) comprise an extension part that is further extended in a horizontal direction parallel to the housing(20) from a blade part projected in a 'Y' shape from the body part, wherein a coating layer having softening point and flash point lower than a preheating temperature of 1200 deg.C is formed on the outer surface of the fixed rakes(22) in a thickness corresponding to thermal expansion amount of the fixed rakes(22), and wherein the coating layer is coal tar pitch for asphalt having softening point of 46 to 50 deg.C and flash point of 320 to 340 deg.C.
