PURPOSE: A conductive polymer capacitor is provided to enhance the capacitor performance characteristic by preventing the moisture content from being permeated into the conductive polymer film. CONSTITUTION: A capacitor element(10) is formed with a powder of tantalum, and baked at a vacuum furnace. An oxide film of Ta2O5 is made on the surface of the capacitor element to form a dielectric layer(20). A conductive polymer layer(30) is formed on the surface of the dielectric layer(20). The conductive polymer layer(30) has a double-layered structure with the first polymer layer(32) formed by way of the chemical polymerization, and the second polymer layer(34) formed by way of the electrolytic polymerization. The capacitor element(10) with the conductive polymer layer(30) is dipped in a solution of H3PO4, and dried such that the phosphorous ions are permeated into the conductive polymer layer(30). |
