PURPOSE: A multimedia unit mounted in a roof of a vehicle is provided to operate simply, and to enjoy multimedia in various positions of a vehicle room by automatically turning the display unit and adjusting the angle with switching and stably fixing the multimedia unit in the roof panel. CONSTITUTION: A multimedia unit for a vehicle comprises a cover frame(400) installed in a roof panel of a vehicle room and composed of a downward opening part(410); a carrier body integrally fixed to the opening part of the cover frame; a support body combined with the carrier body, and turned right and left by a tilting unit; a display unit(900) combined with the support body by a hinge, and turned by a turning unit(800) to display multimedia in applying power; and a locking unit(1000) fixing the display unit to the cover frame. The display unit is released from the cover frame by generating magnetic force in applying power to the side of the opening part. The multimedia unit is turned automatically by adjusting the angle, and fastened on the roof panel stably.
