PURPOSE: To provide a fastener tape which can form a fastener stringer generating no puckers and ensuring linearity especially in an element mounting edge portion even after mounted with an element. CONSTITUTION: This tape 1 for a slide fastener comprises a weave having a tape main portion 5 and an element mounting edge portion 4 into which core cords 7a and 7b are woven. The ground warp 6e to 6n used in the tape main portion 5 uses a textured yarn having a lower thermal shrinkage than the other warp 6a to 6d. The core cords 7a and 7b are a multifilament of a high thermal shrinkage. The warp 6c and 6d adjacently inside the core cords 7a and 7b uses a textured yarn having a lower thermal shrinkage than the core cords 7a and 7b. |
