PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surround sound generating device which can produce a surround sound without requiring any complicated operation. SOLUTION: The surround sound generating device 1 is used to set a sound source, a listening point, and a virtual space in which the sound source and listening point are present, and sound data for reproducing the surround sound of the set model through a plurality of speakers are simulated and generated in a computer. The device is equipped with a simulated model storage means which stores the sound data, a displayed simulated model display means, a simulated model selecting means for selecting the sound data, a simulated model arithmetic means which computes the sound data, a simulated model arithmetic result output means which outputs the result, and a surround sound reproducing means which reproduces the sound data. |
