PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head and a disk device in which the optical head is made thinner and lightweight, thus the disk device is miniaturized and given a high recording density. SOLUTION: The optical head 1 has a two-group lens composed of an objective lens 7 arranged on the side of a semiconductor laser 2 and a front lens 8 which is arranged opposite to the recording layer 10b of an optical disk 10, and the objective lens 7 is so arranged that the optical axis of the lens is in parallel to the recording layer 10b. Thus, the optical head 1 is made thinner and light weighted. |
