PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus that takes into account handling when an imaging unit and an information device inserted to other card slot are connected together. SOLUTION: The imaging unit 101 is provided with an image memory for storing a photographed image and a card-shaped connector 103. An adaptor unit 111 is provided with a power supply 112 capable of electric connection to the unit 101 via the connector 103, a power switch 114 and a shutter switch 113. When the imaging unit 101 is connected to the adaptor unit 111 and the power switch 114 is closed, power of the power supply 112 is supplied to the imaging unit 101 to drive the imaging unit 101. While the imaging unit 101 and the adaptor unit 111 are connected, the adaptor unit 111 transmits a signal indicating the operation of the shutter switch 113 to the imaging unit 101 to record an image signal to an image memory. The imaging unit 101 is miniaturized by eliminating the need for provision of the shutter switch and the power supply or the like to the imaging unit 101. |
