PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low-cost constitution for a destaticization aligner in which the destaticization of a photoreceptor is carried out by simple control, the factors of image degradations such as occurrence of the destaticization unevenness and the occurrence of electrification unevenness resulting from the unevenness are reduced and solved in physical properties and with time compared to a conventional light source, good image forming is maintained for a long period of time, and power consumption is suppressed. SOLUTION: A linear illuminator using an end LED and a linear light transmission body is used as a destaticization aligner. A drum electrical potential is detected and the light quantity variable control of the end light source is carried out on the basis of the detection result. The control means variably controls the lighting time or lighting current of the end light source of the linear illuminator. One or two or more light emitting diodes are used as a light source. |
