PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element with excellent solar energy conversion efficiency, having a porous oxide electrode with high film strength instead of low temperature sintering and good electrolyte permeability, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: A slurry is produced by using an aqueous solution in which, oxide particles and electrolyte permeable fibrous compound are mixed, and a porous oxide electrode is manufactured by applying the slurry to a base plate having a transparent conductive film on it, and drying the slurry. Subsequently, the surface of the oxide particles on the porous oxide electrode is made to absorb dye stuff, and an opposite electrode is formed, and the photoelectric conversion element is formed by injecting electrolyte between those electrodes. |
