Class 20(4) A moulding comprises a strip of flexible material whose rear face has a central longitudinal groove or grooves 1, Fig. 2, at each side of which are further fine longitudinal grooves 2, serrations or the like. The rear margins 3 are plane surfaces and the front face has rounded edges 4, cambered surfaces 5 and a central recess 6. The groove or grooves 1 enable the strip to be bent at right angles and adjoining lengths may be mitred together or as shown in Fig. 6, the adjacent ends may be covered by a corner member 7 having rebates 8 to receive the moulding ends. The member 7 may be of synthetic resin, glass or porcelain.</p> |
