PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform natural color image display with high uniformity of display colors by varying the display colors of moving images and still images as needed. SOLUTION: A plurality of color difference conversion tables 52 storing different pieces of conversion information are provided, the color difference signals of moving image data are converted by selecting one of the color difference conversion tables corresponding to a display color adjusting operation by a user and the converted color difference signals are converted to RGB values in a moving image display conversion part 53 and displayed on an LCD 34. Also, for still image data, a plurality of lookup tables 56 storing different pieces of the conversion information are provided, one of the lookup tables is selected corresponding to the display color adjusting operation by the user, the RGB values corresponding to the display color number of the still image data stored in a frame memory 55 are read from the selected lookup table and displayed on the LCD 34.
