PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to continuously utilize information concerning the past, the present and the future with high visibility without causing an information distortion and a time-lag in a general-purpose information system for providing information via a network. SOLUTION: An information providing source A inputs information through the use of an input table with a routine format and registers it in a distribution server B. Previously registered information can be changed. The distribution server B authenticates registered information, stores it in a data base and selectively reads information from the database in response to the information request operation history of the user C, etc. Sentences with a form corresponding to the course of time are constituted by the read information and distributed to the user C. The terminal of the user C displays received information in a form such as a list by time sequence from the past to the future.
