PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot matrix type color LED display suitable for displaying in vivid color. SOLUTION: In the dot matrix type color LED display obtained by respectively arraying a plurality of LED display elements 2 in the direction of arrays and in the direction of columns, the LED display elements 2 in the direction of the arrays are the same with each other and the LED display elements 2 in the direction of the columns are arranged so that their display colors may vary step by step from the side of short wavelength to the side of a long wavelength of visible light from one end toward the other end of the columns. A light diffusion sheet is arranged on the upper face of the display 1, and has an area whose light diffusion ratio is different from that in the other area so as to make the boundary line of the group of the display element of the same display color unclear.
