PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable anyone to conveniently input data, to easily memorize authentication information and to prevent pretension of others in the case of input in an ID/ password system. SOLUTION: In this data input authentication system 10 by which a user selects and inputs authentication information by operating an input terminal 11, in which the input terminal 11 is connected with a main server 23 via a network 20 and the main server 23 authenticates the user and manages information regarding service to the user, the input terminal 11 is provided with an authentication information input means 19 for selecting and inputting data as a password or an ID, an authentication information converting means 46 for converting the data selected and inputted by the authentication information input means 19 into specific authentication information including numerals and a transmitting means 42 on the terminal's side for transmitting the authentication information and the main server 23 is provided with an authentication information collating means 91 for receiving and collating the authentication information including numerals which is transmitted from the transmitting means 42 on the terminal's side and a transmitting means 92 on the server's side for transmitting this collation result to the input terminal 11. |
