PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency divider whose highest frequency-division frequency is high and which can operate fast. SOLUTION: A 1st LC resonant circuit, a 2nd LC resonant circuit, a 3rd LC resonant circuit, and a 4th LC resonant circuit which have resonant frequencies a half as high as the input frequency of a master slave type frequency divider are connected to a 1st input terminal D and a 2nd input terminal D' of a 1st latch 1, a 3rd input terminal D and a 4th input terminal D' of a 2nd latch 2 respectively. The 1st LC resonant circuit is a parallel circuit of a 1st parasitic capacitor C22 and a 1st ground inductor L22 and the 2nd LC resonant circuit is a parallel circuit of a 2nd parasitic capacitor C21 and a 2nd ground inductor L21 . Further, the 3rd LC resonant circuit is a parallel circuit of a 3rd parasitic capacitor C11 and a 3rd ground inductor L11 , and the 4th LC resonant circuit is a parallel circuit of a 4th parasitic capacitor C12 and a 4th ground inductor L12 .
