PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably rearrange commands in accordance with change of the internal temperature of a magnetic disk device by storing and holding seek times for respective numbers of tracks traversed by a magnetic head in a table with respect to each internal temperature of the magnetic disk device and performing table switching in accordance with the internal temperature of the magnetic disk device at the time of selecting the next command from present execution command. SOLUTION: The internal temperature of the magnetic disk device is monitored. When the internal temperature is different from the temperature to which a seek time table used at present corresponds, another seek time table which is preliminarily held in a magnetic disk device controller and corresponds to the present internal temperature of the magnetic disk device is used to perform suitable command rearrangement capable of following up the temperature change.
