PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge which can miniaturize a drive device. SOLUTION: A magnetic tape cartridge 10 is provided with approximately rectangular cases 20 and 30 for rotatably storing a single reel 12 around which a magnetic tape 14 is wound, an aperture 18 which is formed by cutting an corner part of the cases 20 and 30 on the front side in the loading direction to the drive device and through which a leader member 16 attached to the end part of the magnetic tape 14 is pulled out, and a door which is moved on a prescribed circle to open/close the aperture 18 and is formed like an arc when viewed on a plan.
