PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine and an automatic vending machine system capable of easily printing out various information on commodity containers such as cups without requiring labor. SOLUTION: The automatic vending machine system 10 is constituted of connecting a plurality of automatic vending machines 12 to an external base station 14. Each automatic vending machine 12 is provided with a built-in recorder, commodity selection buttons 28 for selecting a certain commodity and information selection switches 32 for selecting information to be printed out on a cup 32. Images matched with the inherent number and attributes of each automatic vending machine 12 are distributed from the base station 14 to the vending machine 12, one of the distributed images is selected by the button 32 and printed out on the cup 30 by the built-in recorder. The sales results of each automatic vending machine 12 are sent to the base station 14 and totalized by the base station 14.
