PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector capable of automatically, smoothly, and properly making correction of axial dislocation of a center contact and an external contact and adjustment of a fitting gap when fitting a connector. SOLUTION: A shell 23 is movably held in the shaft direction for fitting to and separating from a receptacle 2 to a floating flange 27 installed on an installing object 28. The shell is always energized toward the receptacle by a compression coil spring 32. Floating mechanisms 27-1, 27a, and 29 are arranged for moving the floating flange in the radial direction to the installing object. Thus, when fitting to the receptacle, the shell can move in the shaft direction and the radial direction. |
