PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forwarding information recording system suitable for a disk of high density. SOLUTION: The same error-correcting code is used for first data (user data) and third data (forwarding information). Besides, the first data have a first error-correcting block structure and the third data have a second error- correcting block structure. Namely, the error-correcting block structures are provided respectively suitably for the first and third data. Especially, the recording density of the third data is relaxed compared to the recording density of the first data, a number of codes in the correcting code of the first error- correcting block is a multiple of (m), a number of codes in the correcting code of the second error-correcting block is n/m in the number of codes in the correcting code of the first error-correcting block, and a number of data in the second error-correcting block is n/m in the number of data in the first error-correcting block.
