PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a short-distance radio communication system which is constituted by using a radio frequency identification device (RFID). SOLUTION: The radio frequency identification communication device is equipped with a radio frequency identification information holding part which provides its own radio frequency identification information at requests from other devices, a radio frequency identification information read part which reads radio frequency identification information that other devices have, and a control part which controls radio transmitting and receiving operations by the radio frequency identification holding part and radio frequency identification information read part. According to a packet kind, the radio frequency identification holding part and radio frequency identification information read part are switched as a packet transmitting means.
