PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent display quality from degrading because the number of wiring and transistor elements is decreased substantially and also a write time of a video signal in pixels can be secured sufficiently. SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a data analysis circuit 31 for analyzing data of a digital video signal, a reference data generation circuit 15 for generating a reference digital data, a voltage generation circuit 16 for generating a step voltage Vs which varies in synchronization with variation of the reference digital data and also corresponds to the reference digital data, for a time corresponding to a analysis result of the data analysis circuit 31, a coincidence detection circuit 17 for detecting a coincidence between the digital video signal and the reference digital data and outputting a coincidence detection signal, and a gate circuit for outputting a voltage according to the coincidence detection signal. |
