<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet exchanger which is high-speed with its delay time short even in case that receivers and transmitter increase, by equally deciding the connection between each transmitter and each receiver. SOLUTION: A transmission-dealt section 4 installed at a receiver 1 stores a packet in a memory 6, and sends the stored notice information to show that the memory 6 has stored the packet, to a switch control means 10, and a transmitter classifying means 11 classifies each stored notice information separately for each transmitter 3 corresponding to the transmission-dealt section having sent the stored notice information, and transfers it to a receiver selection means 12, and the switch control means decides the connection between a transmitter and a receiver selected by a selection order deciding means 14 and each receiver selection means in a time slot when it has received the stored notice information so that it may not connect a plurality of receivers to the same transmitter, and in the next time slot, a cross bar switch 9 connects the transmitter with the receiver, according to the decision, and the transmission-dealt section outputs the packet.</p> |
